Ingredients
Greek Yogurt Custard:
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons honey, or sub with 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 large egg
Toast Toppings:
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 2 strawberries, cut in half and thinly sliced
- 4 slices brioche bread slices
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar, for topping
Instructions
- Air Fryer Method:
1. Preheat the air fryer to 380F while you prep.
2. In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, honey, and egg.
3. Press the centers of the brioche slices to create a well for the custard.
4. Spoon the custard onto each toast.
5. Add sliced strawberries and blueberries.
6. Air fry for 10 minutes. - Oven Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Follow steps 2-5 from the air fryer method.
3. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
Notes
- Mix-ins for custard: Add a teaspoon of vanilla, a tablespoon of lemon or orange zest to the custard.
- Other topping options: Use sliced peaches, blackberries, raspberries, or chocolate chips.
- Storing: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer until warmed and toasted.
