Description

These delicious breakfast rolls are filled with eggs, sausage, bacon, and cheese, all rolled up in a flaky crescent dough. Perfect for a hearty morning meal or a brunch gathering!

Ingredients

Units Scale

Egg Mixture:

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons red bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Rolls:

  • 2 8ounce cans crescent dough sheets*
  • 1/3 cup whipped chive and onion cream cheese
  • 8 ounces ground breakfast sausage, cooked
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat oven to 350℉ and grease a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray.
  2. Prepare egg mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, bell pepper, milk, and black pepper. Scramble on stovetop and set aside to cool.
  3. Assemble rolls: Unroll crescent dough sheets, pinch edges together to form a rectangle. Spread cream cheese, top with eggs, sausage, bacon, and cheese. Roll up tightly.
  4. Cut and bake: Cut the roll into 12 slices, place in pan, and bake for 24-26 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Serve: Serve warm.

Notes

  • If crescent dough sheets are unavailable, you can use alternative dough options like pizza dough or bread dough.
  • Save time by using pre-cooked breakfast sausage and bacon.
  • Experiment with different flavored cream cheese varieties.
  • Allow eggs and meat to cool slightly before adding to the dough.
