Description

A refreshing and unique twist on a classic soda, the Cherry Pie Dirty Soda combines the bold flavor of Dr. Pepper with fresh cherries and a creamy vanilla foam for a delightful, fizzy treat that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup whole cherries, seeds removed (fresh or frozen/thawed)
  • 2 cans (7.5 ounces each) Dr. Pepper
  • 1/2 cup vanilla creamer (Chobani brand or similar)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cherries: Mince the cherries finely until they are small enough to easily fit through a straw. Collect a few spoonfuls of cherry juice released from chopping and set aside for later use.
  2. Make Cherry Vanilla Foam: Using a frother or a smoothie blender, combine the vanilla creamer with the preserved cherry juice to create a cold foam. The foam should be thick and creamy yet still easily pourable.
  3. Assemble the Drink: Place 4 tablespoons of the minced cherries at the bottom of each glass. Fill the glasses with ice cubes up to two-thirds full.
  4. Add Dr Pepper: Pour Dr. Pepper into each glass, leaving about 2 inches of space at the top for the foam.
  5. Top with Foam and Stir Gently: Add the cherry vanilla cold foam on top of the soda. Stir carefully to combine, taking care not to agitate too much to avoid the carbonation from overflowing.

Notes

  • For a lower-calorie version, use cherry vanilla creamers like Ollipop.
  • Diet Dr. Pepper can be used as a substitute to reduce sugar content.
  • Ensure the cherries are finely minced to avoid clogging the straw while drinking.
  • Use a cold frother or blender to get the perfect consistency of foam.
