For the Mousse:
- 3/4 cup (200 ml / 6 fl oz) heavy cream (with at least 33% fat)
- 7oz (200g) cream cheese, full-fat
- 1 can ready-made dulce de leche (13.4oz / 380g)
Instructions
- Whip the Heavy Cream: Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks. Set it aside.
- Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and HALF of the dulce de leche together with a hand mixer until creamy. Avoid overmixing.
- Fold in Whipped Cream: Gradually fold in the whipped cream in 2 batches.
- Soften Dulce de Leche: Whisk the remaining dulce de leche in a separate bowl to soften and smoothen it.
- Layer and Serve: Fill the glass with a layer of dulce de leche, spoon mousse on top, and drizzle with more dulce de leche.
