Description

Indulge in these delightful Easy Coffee Truffles, a perfect treat for coffee and chocolate lovers. Smooth, creamy, and rich, these truffles are simple to make and a decadent delight.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Truffles:

  • 90 ml (1/3 cup + 2 tsp) thickened/whipping cream
  • 200 g (7 oz) dark cooking chocolate (40 % cocoa solids) - finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules

Coating:

  • 125 g (4.5 oz) milk cooking chocolate

Instructions

  1. Prepare Truffles: Line a small dish with baking paper. Heat cream in a saucepan, add chocolate and coffee until smooth. Chill mixture.
  2. Roll Truffles: Scoop mixture, roll into balls, and refrigerate until firm.
  3. Coat Truffles: Melt milk chocolate, dip truffles, and refrigerate until set.
  4. Decorate: Drizzle with chocolate if desired. Store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For best results, use full-fat cream with a minimum of 35% fat content.
  • Higher cocoa percentage chocolate can be used for a more intense flavor.
  • Regular instant coffee granules are recommended.
  • Adjust tablespoon measurements based on your location.
  • Scrunching the baking paper makes it easier to line the dish.
