Description

A festive and creamy Gingerbread Martini combining the warm flavors of gingerbread vodka, coffee liqueur, and Irish cream, perfectly garnished with whipped cream, cinnamon, and a gingerbread cookie-rimmed glass.

Ingredients

Scale

Martini Ingredients

  • 113.4 g gingerbread-flavored vodka
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 56.7 g coffee liqueur
  • 56.7 g Irish cream liqueur
  • 113.4 g half and half or cream

Garnish Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted (for the rim)
  • 1 cup gingerbread cookies, crushed (for the rim)

Instructions

  1. Rim the Glasses: Melt the white chocolate and carefully dip the rims of two martini glasses into the melted chocolate. Immediately dip the chocolate-coated rims into the crushed gingerbread cookies, rotating each glass to ensure the rims are fully coated. Set the glasses aside to allow the chocolate to set.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, pour the gingerbread-flavored vodka, half and half (or cream), Irish cream liqueur, coffee liqueur, and ground ginger. Add a generous amount of ice to chill the mixture.
  3. Shake the Cocktail: Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds. This chills the drink thoroughly and blends the flavors together.
  4. Strain and Serve: Strain the chilled cocktail mixture into the prepared gingerbread cookie-rimmed glasses evenly.
  5. Garnish: Top each martini with a generous dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle the ground cinnamon over the whipped cream to add aroma and a festive touch.
  6. Enjoy Immediately: Serve the Gingerbread Martini immediately for the best flavor and presentation.

Notes

  • Use quality gingerbread-flavored vodka for an authentic holiday taste.
  • Ensure the white chocolate is fully melted and slightly cooled before dipping the glass rims to avoid drips.
  • Crush the gingerbread cookies finely to create an even coating on the glass rims.
  • Adjust the amount of ground ginger according to your spice preference.
  • For a richer cocktail, substitute half and half with heavy cream.
  • Shake the cocktail well to achieve the perfect chilled and blended drink.
  • Serve immediately to maintain the texture of the whipped cream and chocolate rim.
