- 1 Box strawberry jello, 3 ounce package
- ¾ Cup red berry flavored vodka
- 1¼ Cups boiling water
- 9 bloodshot eye candies
Instructions
- Dissolve Jello: In a large measuring cup, stir the strawberry jello powder into the boiling water until fully dissolved.
- Add Vodka: Stir in the red berry flavored vodka thoroughly to combine the flavors.
- Fill Shot Glasses: Pour the mixture into shot glasses, leaving a little space at the top to avoid spillage.
- Refrigerate: Place the filled shot glasses in the refrigerator and chill for 2 hours or until the jello is completely set.
- Add Candy Eyes: Just before serving, top each jello shot with a bloodshot eye candy to create a spooky eyeball effect.
Notes
- Make them on a baking sheet: To prevent spilling, fill the shot glasses on a baking sheet before transferring them to the refrigerator.
- Add the candy eyes last: Add the candy eyes right before serving to prevent them from softening.
- Don’t add too much alcohol: Excess alcohol can prevent the jello from setting properly.
