Description

Pecan Crumbs:

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans

Stuffed Dates:

  • 24 Medjool Dates, pitted
  • 6 oz Mascarpone cheese

Maple Drizzle:

  • 2 tbsp Grade A Dark Amber Maple Syrup

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Turn on oven broiler and move oven rack to the top position.
  2. Slice dates lengthwise to remove pit and create an opening for the filling.

    Filling: Stuff dates with mascarpone cheese and sprinkle with finely chopped pecan crumbs.

    Drizzling: Place on a lined baking sheet and drizzle with maple syrup.

  3. Broiling: Broil for 3 minutes or until lightly golden. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
  4. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
