Description

These Spicy Buffalo Chicken Sliders are perfect for game day or a flavorful snack. Tender shredded chicken tossed in Franks buffalo hot sauce and ranch dressing is piled high on slider buns, topped with melted cheese and garlic buttered tops for a deliciously spicy, savory treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 9 pack slider buns
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Franks buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Garlic Butter

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9×9 baking sheet or casserole dish with parchment paper to prepare for assembling the sliders.
  2. Mix Filling: In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Franks buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir well to evenly mix all the flavors into the chicken.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Place the bottom halves of the slider buns on the prepared baking sheet. Evenly divide the spicy buffalo chicken mixture among the buns, then sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the chicken. Cover each with the top bun halves.
  4. Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Using a pastry brush, generously brush this garlic butter mixture over the tops of all the slider buns for added flavor and browning.
  5. Bake Covered: Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil to keep the sliders moist. Bake in the preheated oven at 350°F for 15 minutes to let the cheese melt and heat through.
  6. Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5-10 minutes until the tops of the buns are lightly golden and slightly crispy.
  7. Serve: Remove from the oven, slice apart if desired, and serve the sliders hot with your favorite sides immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken or leftover cooked chicken for convenience.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo hot sauce if you prefer less or more heat.
  • These sliders are great for parties and can be prepared ahead and baked right before serving.
  • Use a mix of cheeses like cheddar and mozzarella for a melty, gooey texture.
  • Leftover sliders can be stored in the fridge and reheated in the oven for best results.
