- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix (half packet)
- 1/2 cup bacon pieces
- 4 water chestnuts, chopped
For the Wrap
- 4 spinach flour tortillas
Instructions
- Prepare the Water Chestnuts: Chop the water chestnuts into small pieces and set aside.
- Mix the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the thawed spinach, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix. Mix until well blended.
- Add Crispy Elements: Fold in the chopped water chestnuts and bacon pieces into the spinach mixture.
- Assemble the Pinwheels: Take a spinach flour tortilla and spread about a quarter of the spinach mixture evenly over it. Roll up the tortilla tightly from one end to the other. Repeat with all tortillas.
- Chill the Rolls: Wrap each rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour to set.
- Slice and Serve: Remove plastic wrap, trim the ends of each roll, and cut into 6 slices each (about 1 inch). Arrange on a platter and serve.
Notes
- Ensure the spinach is well drained to prevent sogginess.
- For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of garlic powder or chopped fresh herbs into the filling.
- These pinwheels can be made a day in advance; keep refrigerated until serving.
- For a vegetarian option, omit bacon or substitute with vegetarian bacon or crispy fried onions.
