Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- ½ cup granola
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- ¾ cup fresh strawberries, diced
Topping
- ¼ cup granola
- 4 strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Prepare the muffin pan. Line a 12-cup muffin pan with muffin liners to prevent sticking and make removal easy.
- Mix yogurt and strawberries. In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt with diced fresh strawberries. Optionally, add a sweetener such as honey or maple syrup to taste if you prefer a sweeter bite.
- Assemble the bites. Distribute the initial ½ cup of granola evenly among the lined muffin cups. Spoon the strawberry-yogurt mixture over the granola, filling each liner. Top each with the remaining granola and sliced strawberries for extra texture and flavor.
- Freeze the bites. Place the assembled muffin pan in the freezer and freeze the bites for 2 to 4 hours until they are completely set and firm.
- Serve and enjoy. To serve, pop out each bite using a spoon. Let them sit at room temperature for 2 to 4 minutes to slightly defrost for the perfect creamy and crunchy texture.
Notes
- You can add sweetener to the yogurt mixture if you prefer a sweeter flavor.
- Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best taste and texture.
- These bites should be stored in the freezer; consume within a week for optimal freshness.
- Allow the bites to soften slightly before eating to enhance creaminess.
